  • Help staff map the broader housing sector, understand their role within it, and learn how different services and systems connect.

‘Boost Your Team Working Talents’

This training offer is targeted at Housing Association staff operating at all levels, within and across multiple teams and departments, who would like to build their capacity for effective team working.

Designed for between 12 - 20 participants, this sector wide, one day training event runs at regular intervals throughout the year. It can also be booked exclusively, and delivered as either an ‘Away Day’ or ‘In-House’ training experience.

The aims and purpose of ‘Boost Your Team Working Talents’ are to:

  • Break down silo thinking within and between individual Housing Association staff, groups and teams.

  • Build capacity for (multi-disciplinary) team working through developing skills such as communication, empathy, collaboration, negotiation and problem solving.

  • Foster a collaborative approach to service delivery.

Designed for between 12 - 20 participants, this sector wide, one day training event runs at regular intervals throughout the year. It can also be booked exclusively and delivered as either an ‘Away Day’ or ‘In-House’ training experience.

The aims and purpose of the ‘Unlock Your Leadership Potential’ are to:

  • Provide a safe space in which newly appointed and up-coming leaders can develop and put their crisis management skills to the test.

  • Build capacity for effective leadership through developing skills such as communication, self-awareness, empathy, resilience, reflective practice and creative decision making.

  • Foster a strategic approach to planning.

This training offer is targeted at Board Members and Senior Leaders and represents a sector-wide Housing Association learning experience.

Designed for between 12 - 20 participants, this one day training event is scheduled to run in parallel with Housing Association strategic planning cycles. It can also be booked exclusively as a ‘Board Development Day’ and delivered either as an ‘Away Day’ or ‘In-House’ experience.

The aims and purpose of ‘Power Up Your Housing Strategy’ are to:

  • Provide a safe and strategic space for senior leaders to step back and see the bigger picture.

  • Develop confidence, critical thinking, creativity and strategy in decision making.

  • Build capacity for (collaborative) strategic planning into the future.

‘Grow Community Engagement and Co-Production’

This training offer represents a capacity building experience designed to enable Housing Associations to grow tenant engagement and co-production. Available to Housing Associations individually, the training takes place within a geographical ‘community-based space’ as identified and agreed with stakeholders of the community.

The aims and purpose of the ‘Grow Community Engagement and Co-Production’ training are to:

  • Provide an opportunity for different community stakeholders to come together, build relationships and share perspectives.

  • Identify creative ways in which community stakeholders can become more involved and engaged in shaping and directing their communities.

  • Foster a collaborative approach to growing community engagement and development.

  • Achieve progressive, sustainable and lasting change.
