Vikki is co-founder and creative director of Socialudo. She is also Professor of Social Policy and Employability Lead for the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Stirling. Vikki leads the work to create, plan and deliver a strategic vision for clients, overseeing Socialudo projects and impact.
Vikki’s research interests include future-proofing housing, ageing, stigma, co-production the role of front-line workers, service users, volunteers and the policy process. She has been awarded Excellence in Teaching in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Stirling, in 2016, 2019 and 2023 and is a finalist for the UK’s Times Higher Education (THE) Most Innovative Teacher of the Year Award (2024). Vikki is Honorary Secretary for the Social Policy Association Executive Committee and Editorial Board member of Social Policy & Society.

"My superpower would be time travel. I am a big reader and would love to meet the people and see the eras I read about in books. First stop, meet Jane Austen."
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

"It is hard to narrow down! But I must admit to also being an online gamer. My favourite game will always be the N64’s Ocarina of Time and I have completed every Zelda game since!"
