SocialDeal is a card game about building a social enterprise.
‘Social Deal’ is a serious game that offers a unique, creative, and fun way to engage with entrepreneurial learning. It encourages, promotes and celebrates entrepreneurial activity for social good.
The game uses a creative story-based approach to introduce the different elements of business planning (such as market research, identifying customers, developing capacities, finance, sales, social purpose) and how a business model might influence the types of startup funding available. The game is collaborative, with players sharing the stories they create, and can be replayed to experiment with different approaches.

We have different versions of Social Deal developed for different audiences.
Sociauldo was funded through the Scottish Government’s Entrepreneurial Education Pathways Competitive Fund to develop entrepreneurial learning in schools.
We have piloted Primary school (P5 to P7) and Secondary School (S4 to S6) versions of Social Deal to help pupils learn about social enterprise and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
Operation Enterprise is a fun new game for learners in Primary 5 to 7 (Year 4 to 6). Players become entrepreneurs and use their creative ideas to make the world better, while learning about business and money.
Primary schools can purchase an Operation Enterprise package, with six copies of the game and teaching materials for use with up to 30 pupils simultaneously.
Social Deal Secondary is a storytelling card game for Senior Phase learners (S4 to S6; or Year 10 to 13). Players develop a social enterprise idea, draft business plans, and compete for funding to bring their vision to life.
